This is an ongoing project entitled ‘Urban Silence.’ With this project, I will be photographing different scenes within urban areas that show an obvious human impact, but where the scenes lack actual human presence. To show the parts of the world that are often overlooked, or unnoticed because of their ugliness, their ‘grunge,’ or their because they are just looked upon as unimportant, is analogical to sharing the part within ourselves, or our relationships that we are too embarrassed to show to the world, too self-conscience to admit, or too worried about others judgments. The goal of this series is to show that the unimportant, the ugly, and the unnoticed all have a certain beauty within, waiting for the world to view.
